Stephanie Nishek, ND
Dr. Nishek opened Aurora Naturopathic Center in Minot in 2014. A native of Minot and Valley City, Nishek returned home after several years of practicing family naturopathic medicine in Arizona. Nishek graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010. In Minot, she provides naturopathic care to families and individuals of all ages.
Nishek has served as NDAND President and AANP delegate since 2015. She has been active in professional and community organizations since her student days, including NMSA, AANP, and both the Prescott AZ and Minot ND Chamber of Commerce organizations.
In addition to her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree, Nishek holds a Bachelors degree in Biology from UND. She is passionate about community education, sharing her knowledge on a wide variety of health topics. Nishek is married and the busy mother of two preschoolers..
Dr. Allmendinger has worked at Dakota Natural Health Center, Bismarck since graduating from Bastyr University in 2011. Allmendinger provides naturopathic and acupuncture services.
Allmendinger served as Treasurer in 2012 and President in 2013-2014. She served in the AANP's House of Delegates and the Government Affairs committee for 3 years. She has been the NDAND registered lobbyist since 2013. Allmendinger also represents NDAND in the newly formed Midwest Naturopathic Association.
In addition to her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree, Dr. Allmendinger also received a Masters degree in Acupuncture from Bastyr. Allmendinger holds a Bachelors degree in Dietetics from NDSU. She loves to travel and has observed first hand the cultural diversity in medicine around the world.
Dr. McLaughlin has been working for the Anne Carlsen Center in Jamestown, since graduating from National University of Health Sciences, Lombard IL in 2015. McLaughlin opened a practice in Carrington in 2016. She looks forward to working with a wide variety of patients.
McLaughlin is serving her first term as NDAND Secretary. Since her student days, McLaughlin has been active in the NDAND, the Naturopathic Medical Student Association, the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, and the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. She is interested in a broad variety of health conditions.
In addition to her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree, McLaughlin holds a Bachelor degree in Biology from the University of Mary. McLaughlin enjoys explaining naturopathic medicine to others, particularly those that are unfamiliar with it. She is an active mom, spending her free time outdoors with her family and reading.
Dr. Johnson has worked for Dakota Natural Health Center, Bismarck since graduating from Bastyr University in 2003. Johnson provides naturopathic, acupuncture, and massage services. Allergies are one of her specialty areas.
Johnson is a co-founder of the NDAND, serving as President in 2010-2012 and Treasurer since 2013. She is a frequently requested speaker and preceptor for health care students within the Bismarck area. Johnson was recognized for her community involvement by the Bismarck Tribune in the 2013's 40 under 40 List.
In addition to her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, Johnson also received a Master's degree in Acupuncture from Bastyr. She obtained her Bachelors degree in Biology from UND. She is married and the mother of two boys.
